Poster art for Roger Corman produced "Piranhaconda"

Who could ask for anything more? Part flesh-eating fish, part supersnake all phallic symbol the piranhaconda sets its sights on bootylicious babes foolish enough to wade into its lair. Who will win this war of sexual symbolism starring Michael Madsen and Rachel Hunter?

A December 15 release date came and went with no film which sparked rumors of a halt in production. Those rumors were addressed on the film's IMDB page where a person claiming to be director Jim Wynorski posted the following:

"As the film's director, I can assure you the picture is alive and proceeding along very well. There was never any halt in production, only several impatient people who put release dates down on the internet that we could never physically meet. See you in May with the completed picture. Fans will love it."

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
