Lord of the Rings swordmaster Bob Anderson dies at 89

Bob Anderson (that's him in the Darth Vader costume) has died at 89.

He donned the Darth Vader costume for the light saber battles in "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi" and 20 years later taught Aragorn and others how to use a sword in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. He was a fencing master who represented England at the 1952 Olympics and worked with Hollywood stars for more than 5 decades. On New Year's Day Bob Anderson passed away at the age of 89.
