New "Star Trek Into Darkness" featurette is all about action

This new featurette includes some incredible footage from the film along with the obligatory sound bites from the participants. Normally when an actor is promoting a film you can take what they say about it with a grain of salt, but in this case the superlatives Chris Pine and Co. are bandying about seem spot on.

In my mind there's a lot more at stake now for Mr Abrams than there was before it was announced he was now the dark lord of the sci-fi galaxy - helming both "Trek" and "Wars". If he blows it with this film the weight of fanboy fury and discontent regarding his stewardship of Episode 7 will descend upon him like the Enterprise into San Francisco Bay. So I for one am keeping my fingers crossed that he delivers.
