Ridley Scott on Harrison Ford and Prometheus sequel

Shooting down last weeks hot rumor director Ridley Scott in an interview with Entertainment Weekly basically said he hasn't heard anything about Harrison Ford playing Deckard in the proposed Blade Runner sequel. He then seemed to let his guard down a bit and suggest he's already thinking about a "Prometheus" sequel.

Here's part of the interview.

EW: Did you hear about the rumors online that you were supposedly in talks with Harrison Ford to be in it (Blade Runner sequel)?
RS: No. Don’t know yet. Don’t know yet.

EW: But you wouldn’t rule it out?
RS: Absolutely not. But I’m not sure that that’s going to be a story point, so I don’t know. But if it were, nothing would please me more. Honestly.

EW: But it sounds like you don’t even know yet if there would be a Rick Deckard character?
RS: No. I don’t know.

EW: So, right now, all there is is the concept of doing a Blade Runner film? Nothing more than that?
RS: Right. I just thought Prometheus was so enjoyable — returning to the world of science fiction was so fun — that I wanted to [go back to Blade Runner, too]. I’m also thinking about what the hell I might do for a Prometheus 2.

EW: Do you think there will be one?
RS: [Knocks the wood coffee table and grins]
