New image from "Riddick"

The 3rd entry in the saga that began with 2000's excellent "Pitch Black" is currently shooting in Montreal. Here is part of the studio's recently released plot synopsis...

The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless.  Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he's encountered.  The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.
The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal.  With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won't leave the planet without Riddick's head as their trophy.

Off the beaten track trailer of the day - "ATM"

Unmitigated horror awaits those who stop for cash at this, banking's loneliest outpost. I've heard of exorbitant fees before but this is ridiculous.

This one goes straight to VOD on March 2.

Harrison Ford to reprise his role in "Blade Runner"?

Twitchfilm is reporting that Harrison Ford is in the early stages of talks to return as Deckard in Ridley Scott's upcoming prequel/sequel to "Blade Runner". This is an interesting development for a couple of reasons. First, if Deckard was a replicant (as Ridley Scott is insisting these days), then how could they explain his getting really old? Second: Alcon head Andrew Kosove (Alcon owns the rights to any future Blade Runner projects) has stated publicly that he sees no place for Ford in any new Blade Runner film. Stay tuned.
