Variety 68 year old Ben Kingsley is in the final stages of negotiations to play the villain in the upcoming 3rd installment of the Iron Man franchise. But, in spite of the fact that many believe he'd be perfect for the role of The Mandarin, Variety says he's more likely to play some as-yet-unnamed baddie involved in the spread of evil nanobots.
