As of today the record for a June opening weekend is held by "Toy Story 3" which debuted in 2010 to just over $110 million. Deadline is now predicting a $124 million weekend which, when added to Thursday night screening totals would give the film $134 million +/- through Sunday night. Not bad considering Warners had been predicting $80 (though to be sure that figure was meant to keep your expectations in check).
